Job Description:
My client specialise in delivering Software Defined technologies for cloud, data centre and networking infrastructure to public and private organisations globally. They provide professional/ managed services and consultancy services. This Senior Data Centre Systems Engineer vacancy is the result of increased client demand in the services they provide.
The Role:
This Senior Data Centre Systems Engineer is ideal for a candidate with significant experience in the data centre environment.
You will be responsible for design and architectural duties; they involve modern technologies and software-defined technologies.
The successful Senior Data Centre Systems Engineer will be client facing and will have a strong understanding of the Cisco product line technology in particular Cisco ACI. The successful Senior Data Centre Systems Engineer will also have extensive knowledge of Enterprise Data Centre, LAN & WAN technologies.
Skills & Attributes required:
The responsibilities for the successful Senior Data Centre Engineer will include the design and configuration of:
- Cisco Catalyst (3k through to 9k switching platforms
- Cisco ACI Nexus 9K Series switches
- Cisco UCS B & C Series·Cisco Prime DCNM & Infrastructure Manager
- VMWare ESX 5.x, SRM, vCenter, vCloud
- Flexpod
Hours/Contract:
37.5 hours per week
